What It Is

A walkthrough, not a certificate

What you get

  • A scheduled video call with us, about 30 to 45 minutes
  • You walk the barrier with your phone camera while we guide you
  • Gates, latches, fence height, gaps, climbable zones and signage covered
  • Plain-English advice on what would likely fail and how to fix it
  • A verbal summary of the items to sort before your real inspection

What it is not

  • Not a certified pool safety inspection
  • No Form 23, Certificate of Compliance or barrier certificate can be issued from it
  • Not a substitute for the licensed on-site inspection your state requires
  • Not a guarantee of passing, it is advice based on what we can see on camera

How It Works

Four steps, all from your backyard

1. Book your time

Use the form below and mention you want a virtual inspection. We confirm a time and send you a video call link. $150 + GST, confirmed before the call.

2. Walk the barrier

On the call, you point your phone camera where we ask: gates, latches, fence lines, gaps and the area around the barrier. No apps to install beyond a standard video call.

3. Get the fix list

We talk you through what looks compliant, what would likely fail, and the cheapest sensible fix for each item, in the order worth doing them.

4. Book the real one

Once you have worked through the list, book the licensed on-site inspection ($350) to get your certificate issued and lodged. Fewer surprises, fewer re-inspection fees.

Who It's For

When a virtual check makes sense

  • Owners who want to find the failures before paying for the on-site inspection
  • Regional and rural owners outside standard routes who want an early read
  • Sellers and landlords budgeting rectification work before listing or leasing
  • Anyone unsure whether their pool is ready and wanting straight advice first

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is this a certified inspection?

No. It is advice only, delivered over a video call. Only a licensed on-site inspection can certify your pool, and no certificate of any kind is issued from a virtual session.

Can it issue my Form 23 or Certificate of Compliance?

No. Certificates in QLD, NSW and VIC require a licensed inspector to assess the pool on site. The virtual session exists to help you get ready for that inspection.

What does it cost?

$150 + GST, confirmed before the call. The licensed on-site inspection and certificate remains $350, and re-inspections after rectification are $190.

What do I need?

A phone or tablet with a camera, a standard video call link we send you, and access to the pool area during the call.

Will my pool definitely pass after this?

No one can promise that. Some things cannot be judged reliably on camera, and the on-site inspector has the final say. What the call does is catch the common, visible failures early, which is where most pools fail.
