Local Knowledge

Local pools and how we inspect them

Typical properties and pools

Everything from heritage-era pools assessed against the standard of their construction date to brand new plunge pools in growth-corridor estates. Melbourne's four-year cycle means most owners meet us when council writes to them, and older pools most often fail on standards confusion rather than hardware.

The local process

Book online or by phone. We confirm which barrier standard applies to your pool's age, inspect against it, and issue the Form 23. Lodgement with your council is due within 30 days of issue; we make sure that deadline is not missed.

Pricing

Pricing and travel

Standard metro pricing across greater Melbourne, $350 inspection and certificate, $190 re-inspection, no travel fees.
