Outcomes

Pass or fail, you know where you stand

If your pool passes

The certificate is issued in the scheme's name and lodged with the register, with reporting the committee can minute and file.

If it does not pass

The committee receives an itemised, photo-referenced report that can go straight to the building manager or contractor, and we re-inspect the fixed items for $190.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Why do shared pools have shorter certificate periods?

Higher usage and higher risk. QLD, for example, gives shared pools a one-year certificate against two years for private pools.

Who books the inspection, the committee or the agent?

Either. We regularly work with strata managers on behalf of committees, and we can invoice the scheme directly.

Do individual unit sales need their own pool certificate?

In shared-pool schemes the pool certificate generally attaches to the scheme's pool, and sale requirements draw on it. We can confirm what applies to a specific sale in your state.

Residents keep propping the gate open. What can we do?

That is a compliance failure waiting to be recorded. We can advise on self-closing hardware, signage and layout changes that make propping harder.
