Who It's For

Who this service is for

Made for

  • Owners holding a failed inspection report
  • Owners quoted big money for barrier work who want a second opinion on what is actually required
  • Trades who want the compliance requirements clarified before quoting
  • Landlords and agents coordinating repairs remotely

When it may be required

  • After any failed inspection
  • Before spending on fencing quotes, know the minimum compliant fix first
  • When planning landscaping or renovations near the pool
  • When you want to fix issues before an inspection rather than after

On Site

What the inspector checks

  • Each non-compliant item, what failed, why it matters, and the standard it must meet
  • The cheapest compliant fix versus the gold-plated one, many failures need an adjustment, not a new fence
  • Sequencing advice so rectification work does not create new failures
  • Council notification timeframes where they apply

Outcomes

Pass or fail, you know where you stand

If your pool passes

Once the work is done, a $190 reinspection of the listed items gets your certificate issued and lodged.

If it does not pass

If the rectification misses the mark, the updated report narrows exactly what remains, and our referred trades stand behind their work.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do you do the repairs yourselves?

No, and that is deliberate. An inspector who profits from failing your pool has the wrong incentives. We advise, refer trusted trades if you want them, and re-check the work.

Are most failures expensive to fix?

No. The most common failures, gate tension, latch height, climbable objects in the zone, cost little or nothing to fix. Full fence replacement is the exception, not the rule.

Can I do the fixes myself?

Often yes, gate adjustments, moving pots and furniture, trimming branches. Structural barrier work is usually a job for a fencing trade.

Will you talk to my tradesperson directly?

Happily. It is faster for everyone if the trade knows exactly what standard the fix has to meet.
