Is the pool shared with other properties or part of a strata scheme?

Shared and strata pools are quoted separately.

A shared pool changes the scope of the inspection and the price, and in Queensland a certificate for a shared pool is valid for one year instead of two. We do not book these online because we need to confirm the barrier arrangement and who is responsible for it first.

Does any part of the pool barrier form part of a fence you share with a neighbour?

You will need to arrange neighbour access.

Where part of the barrier is a dividing fence, your inspector must be able to check both sides. Please arrange your neighbour’s consent before the inspection. If access is not available on the day, that section cannot be assessed, the barrier cannot be certified as compliant, and a return fee applies.

I understand that the compliance certificate is issued by an individually accredited inspector and not by Certified Pool Compliance, and that payment purchases an inspection rather than a compliance outcome.

Thanks, your signed agreement has downloaded to your device and a copy is on its way to your email along with your payment link. Once payment is received, your inspector will contact you directly to lock in a date and time.

What happens next:
1. We email your signed agreement and a secure payment link for your state.
2. Once paid, your allocated inspector contacts you to book a time.
3. The inspector attends, tests the barrier and issues your certificate or a nonconformity notice.
4. If anything needs fixing, you have a rectification period and a re-inspection with the same inspector.
